Summary:

We use your measurements along with your progress photos and weigh-ins to measure your progress. The scale, though a reliable indicator of progress over the long-term, can be an unreliable short-term measure of progress. We can expect to see day-to-day fluctuations in your scale weight which are not reflective of your progress. As such, it’s useful to have several metrics to indicate whether or not things are moving in the right direction.

You’ll need to take your circumference measurements as follows each week to be recorded on the ‘Measurements’ tab of your Data Collection spreadsheet:

  • Chest
  • Arms
  • Waist
  • Hips
  • Thighs

Measure around the widest point of your chest, arms, hips and thighs to achieve the most consistent results.

Your waist should be measured at the smallest point.
